Questionable “Gaillard Paris” still posted for sale!

Back in March I posted my investigation of a stamp appearing on certain items for sale on eBay and Etsy that I believe is a replica of an authentic Gaillard stamp. All of the items were listed for sale by a single seller. After I posted my opinion, those listings were altered to remove close-up photos of the questionable stamp, and then within a few days most of the items disappeared from the online marketplace.

I am sorry to say that as of this writing, three months after my initial post on this matter [update: Resurfacing again in July 2021], every single item with the replica stamp has re-appeared on eBay and they are all still represented as Gaillard. (Even more discouraging, there appear to be additional items with the same replica stamp.) My position remains unchanged: I do not believe the stamp is genuine and therefore I do not believe the items are authentic Gaillard.

The table below lists the items currently posted for sale that appear to be the same items I identified in March 2020 with the questionable stamp. The links in the left column take you directly to the current listing on eBay. Again, close-up photos of the alleged Gaillard stamp are still omitted from the current listings.

Additional items

These additional items from the same seller also appear to carry the replica of the genuine Gaillard stamp. The photos of the stamp are oblique, out of focus, or otherwise rendered difficult to read, but based on what I can see, I nevertheless assess that these items also carry the inauthentic stamp.
